OMG This painting was driving me absolutely insane I think it looks done and theres a part of me that would be happy to never see this one ever again !!
Its taken about 80 hours in total, lots of pissing around and repainting of details, and the colours got me so irritated I wanted to put my head through the canvas at one point. Hope you guys like it, As usual, due to my inept camera skills this was the best pic I could get from it. I need someone to give me lessons on how to take pics of art T__T. With this one I wanted to give it a dual sort of exisistance, up close as a chaotic mess of paint and from a distance a more solid complex realistic structure. Im quite happy with the way its turned out.

as for the draw, i love the colors and it looks like you
got the flower pretty famn well and also interesting..
but yeah... not 80 hours' worth interesting :XD:

Great details man, well to take the photo you need big solar light not directly to the paiting, no flash, no shadows, the light must ne uniform. :)

It turned out lovely! I agree with the fellow above me though, turn off the flash when you take the picture. The variation in light takes away from it a bit.

But it's quite pretty nonetheless! I loved the colours you used, and the detail turned out very nicely. Good job!

nice work. of course the colors and the detail are fabulous. but i also really like the composition and the implied depth of the field.
